Your host, Syra Pabst, is one of those affected with this devestating disease. She is married to Eric Pabst, and the two of them have 7 children together. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in October of 2019, and spent 2020 fighting it, going through a mastectomy, harsh chemo, radiation and multiple surgeries. In September of 2022, a month after getting married, she ended up in the ER and found out that the cancer had returned, metastasized to her bones. She also learned that it was terminal and will eventually take her life. It was in her hips, sternum, ribs, spine and skull with two tumors in her brain. She has been in treatment for the last year, finally hitting the stage of "disease stable", as she won't be able to reach N.E.D. (no evidence of disease). She has been able to connect and befriend others through her treatments, and wants to help give them some financial relief from the medical expenses that comes with the battle.
Together, we can make a difference. Let's make the "OFI Cancer Benefit Concert" an event that shines as a beacon of hope. 🌟🎵🤝 #OfiCancerBenefitConcert #FightCancerTogether
